Mr. Pappan's Penguins

Ok so in basically everything i do in my life i have some sort of gimmik. In high school i had "Trenchcoat Tuesdays", on AIM i had "props" and then again on aim i had some weekly animal quiz where you guess the animal and win a prize or something like that....so i figured i might as well have something for this. I have decided on Thursdays it will be an ode' to somebody post meaning on thursday i will post about a person in my life (you know like a friend or something) and dedicate the entire post to him/her and recall one of the more memorable moments...why am i doing this? because this is my blog and i am starting to miss you guys and this helps me cope...yeah...

So last thursday ended up about Austin Shea and today this one will be about Mr. Isaac Pappan. So I woke up today and was getting ready for work and right there on my counter is a framed photograph that Isaac gave me of the two of us singing in the city. This is the only framed picture i have ever owned so i brought it with me to egypt and my family haha was a little confused why i would have a picture of me and a boy...anyway...so i was thinking about at that point and then recalled a time, actually all the time how because of him i cannot win a game of pool (billiards to the more sophisticated). I am not exaggerating when i say that whenever he is around i literally can never win a game and we have played many many games over the school year. And to be more specific it isnt that i do badly the entire game on the contrary the way this stupid curse of his works is that i do really REALLY well until the 8 ball that dreaded 8 ball where no matter what i scratch first try when trying to sink the 8 ball. Now let me take a moment to explain for those who arent familiar with pool and all that high tech lingo i was using. The point of 8ball billiards is to "sink" the billiard balls avoiding the 8ball till all the others are "sunk". when i say sink i mean to get them into one of the 6 holes surrounding the table. Anyway if you "scratch" that means you sink the white cue ball into one of the wholes which is bad. The rules state that if you do so while on the 8ball you automatically lose...and now back to the memories...so i remember one exact time maybe when i realized that Isaac was the reason for my losing. It was me playing against Anthony Budhram. and the game was pretting intense. Now i am not much of a man to boast or anything like that but in all honesty i was ON FIRE and was doing the best i had ever done in my life. So i was sinking balls left and right and i even was able to do the double sink! this means i got two balls into a hole at the same time. I'm saying i was doing so well that i was purposley doing all these amazing shots it wasnt dumb luck or anything i was consciously planning out every hit and KNOWING exactly where they would go i was so confident and everything and then it came to the 8ball. I was pacing around the table planning it out and i knew what i had to do. I needed to hit the cue ball off of the back left corner have it come back to just hit the 8ball into the side pocket...it was going so well until guess who came. As i hit the ball Isaac comes into the room and goes "Oh, Hey Guys!" and i dont know how he does it but then the cue ball that was already on perfect course started to like i dont know swerve and then it just went strait into the corner pocket, i'm not saying it liked bounced off a few walls and like just barely went in, i am saying it was like Isaac steered the cue ball straight into the pocket, if this was basketball it would be a swish right into the hoop. I was in shock and i was defeated. And then of course the rest is history game after game i would get to the 8ball and scratch on the first try Isaac didnt have to do anything but just wait till i was up and then he would win...

anyway its funny and i laugh whenever i think about it. Sorry this post might be stupid but hey what can ya do? they cant be all winners...so this is what thursdays will be like everyone will eventually get mentioned. Dont think i have some sort of schedule of who is next its just based on my thoughts for that thursday morning. God bless and darn you isaac pappan!

ps. see if you can get what literary parody i made of the title!

life lessons!

I went into work a half hour late yesterday and got into an argument with my taxi driver; I’ll explain why. So I live in a part of Cairo called “Abassaya Square” (ab-a-say-ah square) and I work in Heliopolis which is approximately a 15 minute drive, it can be 20 minutes however due to traffic. So I usually get into a taxi around 8am so I can get there on time. Yesterday I get into the taxi at 8am and to my surprise this one spoke English I thought oh cool, lucky me this should be easy…haha why do I even kid myself? I immediately notice that the taxi driver isn’t turing around to go towards Heliopolis in fact he is headed towards the opposite direction “Maadi” (ma-a-di) I tell him many times “Heliopolis is the other way you need to turn around” and he just replies “oh I know I am just looking for a place to turn” as we pass like the fifth place he can so easily turn. The reason he is doing this is because he wants to get extra money from me for the fare and I decide that isn’t going to happen. So I eventually give up my futile attempts for him to turn around and I actually was just smiling there laughing at the situation I was in and the soon to be confrontation I was about to have. He finally does all the way in the middle of Maadi and we get to the office eventually at 9am when I needed to be there at 8:30. So I give him 10pounds which it usually costs from Abassaya to Heliopolis and he says “hey, I want more…” and I say “no if you wanted to be payed more you should have taken me the right way” and start to walk away. He of course follows me yelling “this isn’t fair I had to drive an hour and you only give me this?” and I ignore it and before going into the building I say “I’m sorry that this had to happen I hope that next time you are more honest with your next passenger” and I go inside. Was I upset? Yes kind of, but in life I try and look to see why this happened. So what I took from it was this. I am a push over. Don’t try and dispute it you all know it, I am like a walking floormat that people can just do whatever or say whatever and i let it happen. Sometimes I try to kid myself saying its cool I don’t really mind it, but in actuality I do, so from this experience I feel that God just gave me an opportunity to be able to say NO and confront something that was being done unjustly to me. So thankfully everyone is sympathetic at my office and were very kind to the fact that I was late and I was able to practice being stern; overall a good day.

Other than that we went to this crazy restaurant called Planet Africa for a goodbye dinner for the girl I am replacing, her name is Tameeka by the way if I hadn’t said so before. It was a good time and I enjoyed it the place was like we were inside a jungle with all these animal statues and fake leaves and trees everywhere and all the televisions had Animal Planet playing on them with Arabic subtitles. I feel bad about leaving you guys with a post which the bulk is of an unpleasant event but with a moral reward. So I will tell you guys about a funny mishap that happened after work…

…So there I am in my room just reading a book which I really like so far (It’s called Grace Walk but that’s for another time). Anyway so I am there reading when all of a sudden my door opens and there is an elderly man standing there with a key and two suit cases. We look at each other with a little bit of doubt and I break the silence with “umm, do you live here?” and he goes “uhh yeah yeah I do” and he holds up his key again. So I have stuff like all over the room because I figured I was going to be alone but now there is this guy here and I guess I am going to have a roommate. So he looks around and I start apologizing like crazy cleaning everything up moving stuff around saying things like “I had no idea I was going to be living with someone” and stuff like that. He was very kind about it and was like its ok and just sort of not sure what to say. So he starts to set his things down and we begin to talk. I introduce myself and go “Hello, my name is Andrew Ghobrial and I am here working for—“ I get cut off as he goes “oh I am sorry I am an old elderly man this key says 110 not 101” (101 is where I live and my door is unlocked while I am here so he just put the key in thought he unlocked a locked door and came on in) so we laugh and he leaves and I look around and now my room is all cleaned and crammed into half a room. I feel kind of bad I didn’t get to fully introduce myself but I think people are going to start living here because usually everything is completely empty however when I got home from work there were people all over the courtyard. So who knows maybe I’ll make a friend or something…

Haha I still laugh when I think about it, also I will provide you guys with a picture. Now for those who don’t know or remember I live next to the Police Academy and have to listen to about 30-45 dogs barking always (not an exaggeration it is always) I was asked to take a picture of them but unfortunately I am not allowed to because it’s the law. The law states I am not allowed to photograph the Police or a Mosque and the dogs are technically police, however I think I found a loophole…
this is a picture of the sign next to my building...the translation is basically security center for training police dogs. Not a dog...but close enough, right?

ah! Finally!

haha ok,

i dont know if this post will be funny to anyone but me, but here goes anyway. So I wouldnt be me if I didnt get lost somewhere for awhile now would i? So here is what happened...after work i went out to this italian restaurant with some co-workers and it was called like "Johnny Cheeco's" or "Johnny Something that starts with a C" (apparently they are a big chain in the eastern part of America. Anyway after dinner i was heading back to my apartment and thought, you know what i dont feel like paying so much for a taxi ride to a place i can jsut walk to...so i got a taxi where it would just take me to the main road where my street is off of. The fair was only 2 pounds to get to the street which is like 2 divided by 5.687 so basically it was nothing. I thought to myself i am willing to walk what? like 30 minutes to save some money, plus the weather isnt too bad... Man was i wrong. Anyway like all of you should know i have the worst sense of direction. All i had to do was walk down a street, one street walking straight, yet somehow i dont know how i did it i ended up straying off my path and ending up somewhere i had no idea i was. The temperature rose to about 104 degrees and i was wearing a shirt, tie, and pants so i guess i started to get a little warm. After about another 20minutes of trying to do this all on my own I put myself on the mercy of the people around me, i would go up to them and try to ask for directions. Now my arabic is good when it comes to understanding, but my speaking is...well its nothing to be fair. So i had to think how could i get someone to tell me where to go without revealing i have no idea how to speak arabic. I remembered that my place was right next to the Police Academy so i would go to people and ask "hal inta araf fein kulayat shorta?" (do you know where the police academy is?) and then most of them would go "mish araf" (dont know) which made me a little worried because if they didnt know where a gigantic structure was then how far off did i go in the wrong place? Anyway i finally found the police academy but i was on the other side of it and since i wasnt allowed to cross through that was another 40 minute walk to get to my apartment. BUT i made it back, i got a really good sweat out of it and now i fulfilled one of the many things i was going to accomplish anyway while i was in an urban city; get lost. I cant even count how many times i get lost in fact i got lost so many times i had to give it a name. For those who drove with me might remember me saying something like "oh dont worry this is the fun way." I guess if you havent figured it out, the fun way refers to me having absolutely no idea where i am going or i do know where i am going or i just went in the wrong direction or missed a turn. Anyway i learned my lesson, its never good to be cheap unless you're willing to PAY the consequences! See what i did there? i was talking about physically paying some sort of currency but then put in the term pay the consequences which is just a play on words that you gotta take responsibility for your choices in life.
Anyway this was a bad post and i apologize. To make it up to everyone i will think of something really good to post on for next time. Sorry!

oh, also on a side note, for those who dont get an e-mail notification that i have updated this blog it is because i dont have your e-mail, but that means you should go out of your way to give me your e-mail beacuse sure i am telling you guys all about me but i would like to also know how you guys are doing! so send me updates on yourselves please! ghobrial@gmail.com take care and God bless each and every one of you :D

update

Due to my lack of internet in my room I will have am going to take my fathers advice and type out my post a day before hand and then post it the next morning… so right now its august 22nd but I will be posting it on the 23rd, pretty intense huh!? Anyway there really isn’t much to post about that’s new in my life, I have been going to the office everyday now since last Friday (with the exception of Saturday and Sunday of course) and its been a really nice and pleasant experience. I walk around the office “interviewing” my co-workers so I can learn the ropes of the business and figure out how they will be involved in what I am doing. Until new developments occur at work that’s pretty much what I am going to say about it. Its really cool learning about the history of Habitat for Humanity and the origin is a really interesting and amazing story I will inform you all of once I learn it in complete detail.

Other than the office life I come back to my room and do basically nothing except read and meditate upon my thoughts. I’ll give you guys the demographics of my room in comparison to the office and Cairo in general. Cairo is like an urban city with an uptown and downtown my room is downtown and the office is uptown so I take a taxi which costs somewhere between 8-10 pounds (that’s like 2 dollars) My room is a dormitory room in the seminary of Cairo and its literally right next door to the police academy, which is huge! When I say next door I mean I look out my window and I can see the police academy downstairs doing whatever they are doing. Haha, something that makes me laugh is that right outside my window is the kennel or dog house or something where the police keep all (and I mean ALL) the police dogs. These dogs have a lot of energy because they do not ever stop barking, and we are talking somewhere between 30-45 dogs barking all at once all the time. To most this would be somewhat annoying and perhaps even irritating but then I laugh because I think specifically of Austin Shea and how he wouldn’t be able to last 20 minutes in my room. Its funny because we were roommates in college and this kid needed absolute silence and darkness to get sleep, while I on the other hand just ignore whatever surrounding are around me and go to bed. I can sleep with dogs barking and the lights on because if I want to sleep I sleep. One of my fondest memories was coming into the room after class and seeing up against our window was about 4 giant cheerio boxes stacked upon each other with coca cola case boxes intricately placed in order to block out ever ounce of light that might attempt to enter our room. The best part was Austin called it “the tower of darkness” and it was so ridiculous I had no choice but to laugh at it and him (sorry buddy). Anyway this tower of darkness was beside my desk, in fact my desk was used to prop up the tower so it wouldn’t fall. I still laugh when I think about how many times I knocked it over due to a bump of the arm or getting up from my chair too quickly creating a breeze or something and how Austin would then yell over it and him saying “how much effort he put into making it and I don’t ever consider the ramifications of my actions” and whatnot. But of course it was all in good humor because he knew that no one ever dares to speak at me with such a tone or I would crush them to the ground! …. Yeah ok I am rambling now. A post that was supposed to notify you guys on my living arrangements has turned into me talking a stroll down memory lane, and since I don’t feel like erasing all this and typing my first intended objective enjoy :D

this is Austin and me for those who dont know him...i cant believe we've known each other for like 17 years (TOO LONG IF YOU ASK ME, kidding)

there may be hope yet!

So I am in the office now at an actual desk! oooooOOOOooooo. This is officially my first day at the office and i got here early so now i can make a post. The hope is that now I have a solid internet source that may not be daily, but surely ready when needed. And thanks to my Father's brilliant idea I will make a post entry on a word document before hand and just paste it in, ah the beauty of modern technology...
So, what should this post be about? I think i'll talk a little about my family again. Yesterday I went to my parents church where they grew up called Asra Du Barah (pronounced the way you see it, happy nimmy!?) Now let me say it was enormous and i had never seen so many happy people at once, not only because they were all christians but because they all knew who i was...They all recognized me as Nader Labib's (my father) son and some even confused me of being my father...i had no idea i looked like him back in the day. It was a lot of attention which i wasnt prepared for and all i could do is smile uncontrollably and just nod as people swarmed to shake my hand, kiss me, or hug me. I got to meet my tunt Fifi, my tunt Jii Han and my awesome cousin Nagwan. I also met my grandfather for the first time and he is really great. I felt really bad that I couldnt communicate with him very well and i hope to fix that by the next time i see him. My tunt Fifi and Nagwan are really funny and cool there would be pauses in conversation and my tunt Fifi would just say "ya habibi, ibna nader gameel owie!" (this translates "my child, nader's son very beautiful!") and they took me out to food after the church service. OH! sorry i forgot to set a time indication the service was at 7pm Egypt time which is like 12 noon for you guys. By the time we left church it was about 9:30pm or so then we took a taxi to Giza which was about a 45minute drive and saw my uncles and my grandfather. They all really love my dad and miss him a lot, they just kept asking me "why isnt nader here and why hasnt he been coming!?" haha all i could say is "mish araf" (i dont know) So after time spent we drove back to Cairo and by then it was i think midnight or midnight:30 and we got some dinner since we didnt eat yet. We went to a tikka place and i ordered some kebab and kofta (delicious meat thats all you gotta know :P) They drove me back and by then it was 2am where i immediately went to bed due to my exhaustion. I pray that sundays arent going to be like that all the time or i'm coming back to america in a body bag! (kidding i loved it)
I will bring my camera with me next time for i didnt anticipate that event at all and will show you pictures of my beautiful family :D. Till next time sports fans

I hope Joe got to read this

ehh...i feel really bad about not posting a picture so let me put up something i can find, maybe you'll like it or not...as all of you should know i am referred to as the "balance master" so here is just photographic proof i suppose on me balancing something

a little snag...

i have moved into my apartment and its just what i need, a bed and a bathroom with a shower in it. The little snag is that the room doesnt have any internet in it so i dont think i'll be updating this blog as much as i wanted to. Hopefully i can find an internet source at my job where i can update on a break or something but for now dont expect a lot of updates :'(

other than that i have been spending a lot of quality time with myself and reading. So perhaps God is trying to tell me to stop putting so much distractions in my life and to try and do some soul searching or whatever...

anyway my room isnt amazing but also it isnt a complete dump so i'm not complaining. Actually i had a miniature adventure today. So i was trying to go out to lunch with my cousin Hala but i had to leave my room first, right? that sounds simple enough leave the room, however what soon occurred was an incident that took 45 minutes to fix. When i went to open the door it was stuck on lock and my key wouldnt turn inside of it. So i called the people downstairs and they came and then tried just about every key they had and none of them opened it, and each time they would try and give me one of the keys from under the door to see if it would work on my side; they didnt. So then they tried kicking the door down and that didnt work, then they had to eventually take the hinges off the door, to be honest though i would have tried doing that before trying to break the door...but thats just me. Anyway the door was finally opened and they apologized and were real nice about it and told me they would replace it by the time i get back. I am at my cousin's now which is how i am using the internet. The experience was annoying in that i had to wait so long that i told my cousins to go eat lunch without me but i was able to get a story out of it so over all its been a good day.
I also went into the office yesterday before moving in and i got to meet the people there. To be honest i dont remember everyone's name but they were all very nice and welcoming. I had a desk and a chair and a computer and its air conditioned. They gave me a lot of papers to read and i asked for extra reading because i want to do my job right so I may not have the internet but i have hours of reading to do and a place to do it so i am very happy and content :D.

Till next time my friends i hope to post soon enough and i'll see if i can get some pictures of my place.

I hope Joe got to read this

a week at the beach

ok everyone i am back!

so i apologize once again for being gone for awhile but i have been too busy enjoying myself to care about you guys...kidding.

so my apartment is finally ready, it would have been prepared earlier but the person in charge had to take leave due to a loss in the family, so i said take as long as needed. I will be moving in tomorrow and i'm sure it will be wonderful. So i am sure you are wondering what i was doing and the answer would be relaxing at the beach. In egypt there is a resort called "Ghazala" (pronounce re-zal-ah) and it was absolutely stunning. Now as most of you should know i am not much of a beach person, and after spending time in ghazala...i am still not a beach person, but i still had fun! I stayed with my tunt nabila where i did a lot of reading, soccer, swimming in the ocean, and just sitting on the sand taking in the wonders of God and just resting up. It was however not all play, for i took the time to observe and learn stuff about egypt. Last post i commented on the driving and the traffic of egypt, let me now comment on the people of egypt; they are amazing.
I'll start with my family. My family is truly unbelievable to the amount they go for their own and others. I have been just in awe of how much they do and how they do it with so much joy and no complaints. God has truly given them the love for strangers because they treat everyone like their own and its a real testimony of how i wish to be one day. My cousins Siso and Hala and my tunt nablia are so cool and one day i hope to be as giving as they are

These people are so nice and friendly that it just blows me away. People open their homes to you say hello how are you whenever eye contact is made and they sit down and talk with you. The hospitality is very nice too always you are offered a drink, a drink you're not allowed to refuse because they harass you to have one (i love it), whenever you have dinner at someone's place you must take more than one serving no matter what (i love it), but my favorite thing is whenever someone is joking about you or makes fun of you you shake hands immediately after. So someone is like "haha its about time you left! hahahaha" and shake hands. This is so cool and i cant wait to start meeting more people. I also spent a lot of time with my cousins, sami, carrol, and daniel. These three kids are pretty cool and we did a lot of fun things together. Kids are pretty amazing and i never really took the time to figure that out till this week. They give a lot of insight and have perspectives many of us i am sure have forgot about. Kids are like where its at yo, fo' serious.
But I was technically supposed to come back to Cairo on sunday the 12th but they made me stay till today because they found out it was my birthday. I was literally about to get into the car to drive away when my tunt comes barreling out of the house saying "STANI STANI! (WAIT WAIT!) and it was because someone HAD to remind her it was my birthday and instead they made me stay and bought me a cake and bought me cologne and we had a party. I will say it was very nice but i really didnt want it because i hate attention :/

Anway here are two photographs from my trip one is of the beach itself and one is of me at my favorite spot at the beach. I will pick the most censored because there are some pictures of me without my shirt on and i cant put that on the internet because of how intimidating my muscles would be, and when i say muscles i mean how hairy i am :'(

this is me and my cousin samy

sorry everyone!

Ok this is not so much a post as it is an apology...

people have been sending me e-mails saying i havent been updating in awhile and i guess i need to address that. I apologize if i gave you guys the impression that i would be updating like everyday because if so then my bad. I only updated twice in a row because i had the means to do so. Not EVERYWHERE in egypt has internet access and in fact the place i am at now has a terrible dial up, so the be able to post this apology has taken about 30 minutes just to open the page. Anyway I promise you guys once i am settled then i will surely post a great post on what i've been doing. But dont worry everyone i am alive and well and let me say thank you for everyone who wished me a happy birthday it was unecessary and very kind.

ps. I dont have everyone's e-mail so if you can think of someone who doesnt have the link to my blog and would want it please give it to them. Thank you and be good everyone.

is it too soon to post again?

Hello All,

It might be too soon to post again but i'm doing it anyway. Its about 3pm here and already much has happened. I woke up and went to my apartment to see what it will look like. I wasnt able to actually go inside but from what i was told it was very nice. Each room has their own bathroom and there is a kitchen and laundry on the ground floor. After "seeing" my room my friend Wahid took me to see the pyramids in Giza. Now before coming to Egypt i had always said that Alex Stein was the best driver i knew, but after driving with Wahid, Alex wouldnt last literally 20 seconds on Egyptian roads.
The driving rules are absolutely none. 2 lanes become 6 lanes constantly and yet you never are held up in traffic if you are good enough. Wahid just ducks and dives through cars. Something i noticed was that the honking system is completely different in egypt as it is in america. In america you honk when you are angry and want to let that person know you are angry (very stupid) however in egypt people are constantly honking just to inform the other drivers, "hey i am coming up behind you, thank you for moving out of the way" everyone is very friendly among the chaos. Also crossing the street is crazy, if you get hit by a car its your fault for getting hit, on the way i saw 6 people get hit and they just get back up apologize and finish crossing the street; its simply amazing.
When i arrived in Giza we went to the pyramids where when they found out i was american/egyptian dozens of people surrounded me to get a piece of me. This is not because they were happy an american was coming to see egypt but because americans have american money and are fools, however i was well informed and said all i have is 30 pounds. Most left except for Mohammed who visited new york and said he would take me. We rode around on a camel and saw many sights of the desert and the pyramids. I felt bad for the camel [who i named Kamal (ka-mal)] because he had so so so many flies all over him that i couldnt complain when the flies came on me. After the tour i was taken to a essence shop where they made pure essence from lotus flowers or roses and such. I didnt want to buy any but they gave me a bottle of water which i drank in about 15 seconds and they gave me a sample of lotus essence. I saw a few more sights while driving back to the house and now i am here. In about an hour i will be leaving for rizala which is where the beach is. here is a photo graph of me and kamal

I hope Joe got to read this.

I have Arrived!

Greetings my friends and welcome to the first official post of Andrew's Blog.

My journey started when leaving my house at 3pm American time and arrived at the JFK airport where i went through the wonders of the security system at the airport. So as always i get stopped when i enter through security, but this time things went extremely smooth and i actually almost made it when they scanned my digital camera and it came back "positive" for possible residues of explosives. This set off an alarm where guards came as they then had to completely dissect my entire luggage and after they saw that i had nothing they rescanned the camera and it came back negative, they all apologized and said this is the second time it has happened. Praise God for this wonderful experience he has put me through.

The plane ride was relatively comfortable, i felt special when the stewardess would speak in english to all the american passengers but spoke arabic to me. Thank God she asked me extremely basic yes no questions and things like "inta ashruby eh?" (this means "what would you like to drink") or "shey wa a-hua?" (tea or coffee?). We arrived in Cairo at 12:30pm egypt time (thats 5:30AM in New York time) After the plane ride i my friends Hanan and Fedyia met me and helped me go right through customs since they were friends with the people there. After taking a bus to the main gate i was met by a driver holding up a sign saying "Mr. Andrew Nader Ghobrial" where he continued to refer to me as Mr. Andrew and carry all my bags and do everything for me. For those who dont know me very well i am not used to being served at all i prefer being the one serving, but i feel that God is perhaps putting me through this to learn a lesson in moderation and giving others a chance to serve (i am very stubborn though so this may take awhile)

I am currently in Heliopolis at my cousin Hala and her husband Ramses's house. They let me sleep and served me lunch where we had very pleasant conversations. Hala is at Rizalah which is a beach resort. I am going there tomorrow to meet up with my Tunt Nabila and see my kid cousins. Ramses and i went downtown to do some grocery shopping and to buy me a beard trimmer. The pricing system is very different here in Egypt instead of seeing $5.99 or something like that you see $500 or $360 and other prices similar. The exchange rate here is for 1 american dollar its approximately 6 egyptian pounds. So something for 300 pounds is actually 50 dollars, got it?

My day wouldnt be complete if i didnt screw something up, so as we were at the grocery store i dropped a packet of pudding and one of the packs broke and spilled on the floor, its funny because it happened as i was avoiding to knocking some eggs down since i didnt want to break them. Anyway this soon turned into an arguement between me and the grocery store owner of whether to charge me for the 4 packs or just the 3, he kept saying i am only charging you for 3 and i kept saying it was alright i want to pay for all 4...he eventually won and i payed for only 3. Now i am back here in Ramses's home and i am typing this blog entry. I hope you enjoyed this and i know this post is long. I apologize for the length i am going to make the next ones shorter so that people dont get discouraged to reading these.
